It saddened me to hear the news yesterday afternoon about the passing of one of the most influential artists in Music today Amy Winehouse. I had spent the fast few months dipping deeper into her music, and anticipating her newest album but more importantly her lyrics and experiences battling her addiction. As I write this… No one knows how and what she died of, but whats important now is to mourn and celebrate her life as she left it. With that said.. I Love Amy Winehouse, Here is my cover to “Wake Up Alone” from the Back To Black Album. Everyone knows “Frank” was my ALL TIME favorite album, however this song seemed to fit the mood as I sat in the studio. Enjoy.
